February ISP Work Schedule: Possible network downtime	2/8/2011
We have been made aware of several important ISP work plans that may have an impact on network performance for all our titles and Websites. Our ISP has recognized a possible issue with their routers that run their backbone network lines, and are taking steps to fix the problem in an orderly and quick fashion to prevent a bad degradation in service or disconnection down the road. Where we fit in this plan is any router that is updated must be taken down for 3 hours or so, which makes traffic reroute to other routers so the network traffic continues. When such rerouting is done it usually is accompanied by a change in traffic speed because of the longer route and possible capacity issues with the new route. Furthermore if that router is very close to our servers it is possible no route is available and we will be "blacked out" while the update is taking place. Our ISP plans on doing these ISP maintenances through February. Many of you may have noticed a network drop late January, that was the symptom that started the ISP investigation and plan to fix it before it happens again. Below are the known ISP maintenances that have the best chance of directly affecting our service availability. February 9 : 2am - 5am Possible Black out, and/or suboptimal routing (Latency) February 21 : 2am - 5am Possible Black out, and/or suboptimal routing (Latency) Please note that during February there is a strong likelihood of intermittent problems in the morning hours due to these updates taking place throughout our ISP network.

Not only will you find videos to watch, you will see new offers and opportunities to get WP Energy, some of which are free to do. Videos and Offers availability is restricted to geographic locations were advertisers are and though you may not see something available to you right now does not mean that tomorrow or next week something might be available for you. Rollback Compensation Announcement	1/10/2011
As most of you already know, we experienced a serious database error over the weekend that led to three separate rollbacks effecting users who played on both servers. A number of you lost items, character progress and gold bars. We apologize sincerely for the inconvenience you experienced. We will be providing compensation for your lost time and money. Here are the steps we are taking for compensation: · We have logs of all gold bar transactions, so we will be able to return any lost GBs to players. · We will host a Double XP Weekend starting at 8 a.m. server time on Friday, Jan. 14 to 8 a.m. server time Monday, Jan. 17. · We are adding a free extra week of time to subscribers who were affected and providing Trial users who were affected with a free week of Deluxe subscription. Unfortunately, a side effect of the database crash is the loss of all logs regarding in-game money transactions, trades and purchases, making it impossible for us to refund all of those losses, and we sincerely regret that. We are currently working to upgrade our DB procedures. Some of the steps we are taking include: · Monitoring database transactions to detect error conditions prior to problems occurring · Monitoring disk IO for potential overloads that could slow DB queries · Potentially switching the current name-based hostname selection to IP-based selection We have a team of engineers currently working on the issue and we expect to have a fix soon. --KevinB Vogster Community Team
